You should already have Winamp installed.
So now you need to download and install the Broadcast Plug in.

Once you downloaded it, we need to install it.. First off, make sure Winamp isn’t running.
Load up the Plug in install, and follow the on screen instructions to install it.
Once you have installed it, load up Winamp, and open Preferences (Ctrl + P).
Scroll down and on the left menu click DSP/Effects.
You should then see ‘Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP v1.9.0’ in the right window, that means you have correctly installed the plug in. Click ‘Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP V1.9.0’ to make sure it’s highlighted, click Close, and a window should come up.
Select the Output tab.
And in the ‘Address’ bar, type in the Stations IP (where to broadcast to), then type in the Stations Port in the ‘Port’ bar.
You should also have created a password when creating the Radio Station, type that in the ‘password’ bar.
Hit ‘Connect’, and voila, you have connected to your Radio.
If it doesn’t connect, make sure your Radio Station is turned on.
Else, check you are not behind a Firewall, if you are, port forward the Winamp and Radio port.

Could you help me out, not sure how to work the mic. and the transfer is slow ?? Like I play the song and it comes after 10 seconds on the site!
So is your music, or it should be. It’s simply because of the upload to the Radio Server, it takes time because:
1. It has to send the information to the server.
2. There are more then one people on your Server (If you are from http://www.listen2myradio.com).

Sorry I wasn’t replying to your comments, my PC has died, so I am having to use my little brother’s PC.
Them mic does work, but not with the music, you just have to change your sound to your Microphone somewhere in your preferences, sorry not exactly sure how at the moment..
However, if you are hoping to use a Microphone, I wouldnt suggest using Winamp! Try SAM Broadcaster, or Virtual DJ. (Both tutorials are here on the blog :))

1.go to input after doing whats told above (in blog)
2.press push to talk button
3. lock it

Hiya, ermm….I cannot connect…I got it all right….I cannot connect through SAM either although it’s all right, I’ve had no problems with djing untill l2mr. I havent got a firewall either…just don’t know whats wrong…..email me if need be:

This is a L2MR problem..
Firstly, make sure your IP, Port, and Password is correct.
Then check your Radio has been turned on, if not turn it on, and check it after to be sure it has turned on.
If all is correct so far, try to re-instasll and/or change server.
However, if it still isn’t working, check your own port forwarding…

i always have the plugin options window open then quickly change to input lock it talk then back 2 winamp
the next time you only have to select it no need 2 lock but this can somestimes freeze winamp

Unlock the Push to talk button. Look up if you don’t know how to get the mic window open. (It was posted by chance)
hey, i got it connected and stuff, and i know how to use it all, BUT:
when i am broadcasting and try to listen… NOTHING (i even tryed doing the premium listen thing (cant hear? buton))

1. Turn on your radio.
2. Go to your own sub-domain.
3. Start your encoder.
4. Invite your listeners.
I followed your directions. I was able to connect, but I do not here anthing on any of the webpages for my radio. It says “ready.” I click play. It says “ready,” and nothing happens.

I have the updated dsp, v 2.3.1. Still having issues connecting. I’ve used the password that I created and still no connection. Is there something that I’m not doing? Or something I’m doing that it won’t allow me to connect? Need help. Thx.

Sometimes I have not any error message and sometimes “DJ/user or password incorrect”. I really don’t know what fail, it seems everything is OK.
